Our kennel's buildings are equipped
with heat, water (larger kennel), and a run for each dog with inside and outside accessibility. Each dog is provided a "Kennel
Deck" to allow for comfortable sleeping off the floor. The flooring is concrete to allow for ease in cleaning with a powerwasher
and disinfectant. Our dogs have access to a large fenced in yard for daily excersise. We feed our dogs Tuffy's Gold dog food,
our mothers to be are fed Nationals Competition, and Purina Puppy Chow is fed to all our puppies. Each dog receives a milk
bone and a hug at bedtime, when their dog doors get closed for the evening.

Our puppies are born in whelping rooms
in our house. These are 8X8 rooms with heated floors, doors for moms to go in and out. Each room contains a 4X4 whelping box
and a heat lamp to make sure the pups are kept at just the right temperature. If needed, a supplemental bottle of puppy formula
is given to pups that need that little extra boost when mom has a large litter (and sometimes just because I love to cuddle
and feed those sweet little bundles of chocolate curls.) The puppies get lots of socialization with the neighbors, our own
children and grandchildren - whom often head right for the puppies, EVEN before they great us!

The pups are weaned around five to six
weeks of age. They are then given colored collars, allowing me to keep notes on their individual personalities. These notes
assist in placing the right pup with the right family.
Our pups are wormed two to three times, receive their six and
nine week vaccinations and are then ready to go to their new homes. A packet containing an AKC registration application, vaccination
and worming records, a pedigree, a Purina Puppy Chow kit with lots of care and training information for new puppy owners.
Puppies that are shipped will be provided with a health certificate. The packet will be mailed Priority Mail after the puppy
has arrived and been welcomed into it's new home.
